i wonder if the devs could patch in 120hz support and just double the amount of frames for landings/grinds. it's a shame, obviously 144fps is uber smooth but obviously the game isnt designed for it. as soon as i started playing last night (also 144hz) i knew something was wrong straight away.

I was having frame skippning/chopiness when i capped my fps to 60 using nvidia inspector last night, but now the issues are resolved, maybe play about with frame buffering in the control panel?įair play thats pretty beast. i wonder if the devs could patch in 120hz support and just double the amount of frames for landings/grinds. OlliOlli2: Welcome to Olliwood is a skateboarding video game developed and published by Roll7 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The game was announced on 25 September 2014 as the sequel to the critically acclaimed OlliOlli, and was released on 3 March 2015 in North America and on 4 March 2015 in the PAL region. I think I'm just having issues adjusting because I'm used to playing at twice the FPS.įair play thats pretty beast. At 60 FPS, the Perfect grind/manual/revert timing is considerably more forgiving. On 60hz, I can't even complete a level without bailing on easy rails, the game simply isn't registering correctly after this latest patch.ĮDIT: After some more play, it seems that you're right. The player controls a skateboarder that must traverse ever increasingly difficult stages, that become exponentially more complex by the games end. Since the patch came out (about an hour ago) I can't even play the game because I'm getting weird frame skipping due to the 60 FPS lock alg they're using.įor what it's worth, I've 5-starred most 75% of the rookie levels on 144hz, and I'm ranked 7th in total Spots points. OlliOlli 2 is a skateboarding game that emphasizes fast reflexes, memorization, and mastery of the controls and tricks at your disposal. I've played 7 hours in the last few days and unfortunately my experience has been the opposite. on the contrary the 60fps makes the game playable as intended The timings for the grinds and landings are linked to frames and playing at 120/144 makes it incredibly difficult to land perfect tricks. I'm not sure why they would hard lock it at a (weirdly jittery) 60 FPS. This patch basically broke the game for me.
